My wife and I were talking tonight about things that have become completely ubiquious in the last 50 years and have changed the way that we lived. The ones that we agreed on were: Now you are strange if you don't have one and people demand to be able to use it everywhere.
This one is a bit longer timeframe but for our parents, travelling from one side of the world to the other took a week, for us it is less than a day. People live in one country and work in another.
